The DigiFold Pro has been made JDF-ready in anticipation of more users wanting bindery operations to become part of an automated workflow process. The DigiFold can crease and fold at speeds up to 6,000 sheets per hour, enhanced by having a touch-screen panel to control all functions and make life easier for the operator. The new DigiFold Pro also uses Morgana’s new PosiFeed system to enable it to handle lighter papers and difficult stocks while also allowing the feeder to be piled higher. It uses a newly patented automated creasing technology called DynaCrease and combines this with Morgana’s proven “Flying Knife” folding method, which together provides a quality finish without risk of damage to delicate digital substrates.
